A chance for more experienced photographers to develop their artistic vision in the countryside which inspired Victorian artist John Martin. David Taylor was the guide and mentor for the day, and took us through the photographic techniques he uses to capture the landscape in a unique and creative way. These included the use of filters, camera limitations, composition (of which Martin would have approved) and exposure adjustments.  This was a very bright and sunny day and David was able to show how the use of graduated neutral density filters could compensate for this.
